Weebit.info is a portal for a self presentation particularly artist presentation. Because the project runs only less then month, no-one understands what for it really is and how to use it. If you are one of them and want to know more, then come to see it in action on 8th April to Academy of Fine Art in Prague.
I’ll be there presenting it, and more importantly will show how to create your own presentation, answer your questions and hopefully get new ideas from your side.
Seams like we are experiencing “new” age of hacking in a mass scale recently. The target is the server side apps. First when I found injection on websites I’m currently working on I thought it’s a WP hole, but supposedly all happened during the unencrypted ftp connections, I dare to say, I made from Windows system. What have I read is that there is a worm or horse or whatever animal who catches the user & password data, it either downloads each index (text file) from server or inject it’s code directly in server during or else after the ftp session.
Solution seams to be so far.
Do not use Windows :), no seriously, run the Antivir in windows safe mode, then change the ftp password, clean up the infected files and never use simple ftp again. Use SFTP only!
If you found “little iframe”, run the first command on the server (you have to have SSH access, if you don’t ask for it, and if they don’t give it to you I suggest change hosting, or ask them if they can do it for you (they have to give you sftp access anyway). Run the command bellow. It founds infected files.

Then if it founds the injection then, clean it up.

Here it comes, the future. Nanotechnology is a new paradigm rising up right with the speed of light and maybe even faster since it has lover resolution then the light wave has. The nano fabric heading into our clothes, into pharmaceutics into the whole world, new shiny technology the world haven’t seen. Yes the nano world is all around us, but unlike “old” nano structures which are result of the millions years long evolution the new one (artificial kind) is here just few years and more than that, it was developed by one stupid kind, generally called Human. OK let’s speak bit more closer. The nano particles used for example during the MRI with the size that can get into the cell as the sharpest blade into the flash can cause the cancer, but it doesn’t ..or it does?. If such a particle apear in the body alone uncovered by for instance some kind of Polymer it might stick into cell and so become the seed of cancer. (more…)
Here it is, an open portal for artists and their presentation.
I have made a portal based on wiki concept but with the easier interface. Self promotion of artist who have just started his/her carrier is really important, and because there is not such a space, not speaking of Myspace, Flicker and other commercial sites ;) the weebit.info site rise up. Weebit.info unlike wikipedia let anyone make his/her online self-presentation.
Weebit.info is completely free (if you like to donate you are welcome). The secondary aim is to make something like a database of artists who are not on the top-list at least not now. I think many of non-top-list artist are doing grate job and so it’s worthy find some informations of them and their work, and the best find them all in one place. The portal is open, so not only artists them selfs can make their presentation, but some willing guy can make it just because he/she thinks it might be interesting for someone to see.
If you like irrational music as I do, you’ll love them, they are f… crazyyyy, their music almost broke my speakers, awesome, I just love them.
Hope they will come Europe as well… if you know when, please let me know.

nobody knows that anything has to happen today, or at least not the nanoSKOP, or anything else with the word nano in the name.
7.45 same place, sitting with couple people close to the main lecture hall waiting for the upcoming electron microscope presentation :)
Luckily one of newcomers has the organisers phone number, so we get the actual address where all supposed to start. We all woke up and headed to the new given address believed we wont miss anything interesting. When we reached the destination even there nobody knows anything has to happen. Then one really kind woman point us to the new center of the faculty.
Pretty nice building, You know the pure totally empty like from the architecture blueprint, no people just glass and concrete, which was bit weird but still seams to be the right place. After we bypassed the whole building we saw couple workers went in. Hey this isn’t the right place, no other people then workers only the pure space.
I like the combination of red and green glass with black lines on edges of the building…. I later spoke with Adolf A.K.A. Fantomas about this building and he explained to me a probably better concept that supposed to stay there but the concept was rejected by the city.
….couple other mistakes, phone calls and we found the right room with researchers waiting on us ;)
9.00 AM – Electro microscope
The E. microscope is bit funny thing. They make a vacuum, because they don’t want to shoot the air atoms. If you are lucky enough and you know how to operate with that sophisticated tool you get a nice pictures, those you know from all books of nano-technology, great beginning of the day. (more…)

They re-use already illegal material shared by the P2P network (such as [[torrent]], [[e-mule]] etc.) and changed particular part for their needs. As a target for such a contribution are chosen hacked programs or movies consumed by millions end users everyday. This material gives even much stronger basement for the net artists then the regular streets. By such a manipulation with high end editing tools (in some cases hacked as well) they can change the source material in the way that common user or else people who haven’t seen the original piece cannot recognize the difference and the manipulated content becomes in the eye of spectator the “unaffacted” and the only work.
In some cases especially speaking of manipulated programs the idea is explicit and even shocking.
